the trip of a lifetime

During my stay in the Tuscany region in June of 2023, Andrea planned such a fun outing for me and my group of friends. We got to experience a gorgeous winery, learn about the history of San Gimignano, explore the Piazza del Campo in Siena, and relax at the shore in Livorno. There were a lot of logistics that went into planning for such a large group to get to tour a variety of places all in just a few days, and Andrea made sure everything went according to plan. It truly was the trip of a lifetime. We even found a shop with our last name!

Every moment Perfect

Our Tuscan experience with La Luna Toscana was easily the favorite part of my family’s recent trip through Europe. We enjoyed an educational wine making tour at a picturesque Tuscan vineyard followed by a tasting and lunch of local cheeses, a stop at the beautiful old city of San Gimignano, a delicious dinner in stunning Siena, and a perfect beach day at a nearly empty beach in Livorno. Every moment was planned out perfectly, from our transportation to restaurants to secret tucked away local spots, all arranged within our price range. We cannot wait to work with Andrea and La Luna Toscana again!

every experience
feeling exclusive

I can’t say enough about the incredible experience we had with La Luna Toscana! From start to finish, they crafted the perfect week-long tour of Tuscany that exceeded all our expectations. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, ensuring we experienced the best the region has to offer. We had the pleasure of visiting one gorgeous winery, where the private tour was nothing short of magical. The setting was breathtaking, and we were able to learn about the winemaking process while tasting some of the best wines we’ve ever had. Andrea was the best local guide. He’s charismatic, knowledgeable, and so friendly. He really brought the region to life with his insights and personal stories.

The food was exceptional—each meal was a celebration of local flavours, and every dish felt like a true taste of Tuscany. Our stay at the resort was equally amazing—luxurious, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning landscapes. We felt completely immersed in the beauty and culture of the region, all thanks to the thoughtful planning and expert local knowledge that Andrea provided.

What impressed us most was the balance of quality and price. We got so much for the value, with every experience feeling exclusive and well worth it. If you’re looking to experience Tuscany like a local with expert planning, I can’t recommend La Luna Toscana enough!

hospitality is
truly one of a kind!

Still reminiscing about our trip to Italy in 2023! Upon landing, my fiancé and I pushed through the jetlag to meet up with some friends for an afternoon in Rome. We enjoyed delicious cuisine and cocktails before arriving in Tuscany the next morning. We were greeted with such warmth from Andrea as he and his wife, Hannah, hosted us for a wonderful dinner with friends and family. After getting a much needed good night’s rest we hit the ground running. Andrea surprised us the next day with a wine tasting in the Tuscan hills.
The backdrop to this experience was lovely. It felt like we were experiencing the delicious blends of white and red vinos in a painting. Starting the day with such a relaxing, yet elegant event was already pretty special, but getting to meet the locals/owners at the winery provided a personable, warm, and unique start to our trip. As we explored the local towns of San Gimignano and Siena, Andrea shared his wealth of knowledge about the history and culture with each spot we visited.
I had visited Italy once before, but after being hosted/traveling with Andrea, I felt a more connective understanding of the culture, leaving me feeling inspired. I would highly recommend Andrea’s services to anyone looking to travel abroad. His knowledge, passion, zest for life, and hospitality is truly one of a kind!

It's personal and magical,
with La luna tuoscana

I think the thing that sticks out most to me about our trip to Tuscany last summer was how intimate it was. This wasn’t a large tour, briefly stopping at all the hits, and then quickly off to another spot. We were taken to places that I’d never heard of and saw things I’d never seen before. And all overseen by the friendly and knowledgeable eye of a local Italian, who told us not only the history of what we were seeing, but why it was special to him.
Don’t get me wrong, we saw all the important stuff, but we also got to see the smaller things. The real things that you often miss in service of the larger tourist attractions. We went to Siena and saw the Piazza del Campo and the Torre del Mangia, but also had time for a quick drink and bite (and some gelato!). We enjoyed the ocean and the Fortezza Vecchia in Livorno. And we hiked up to the top of San Gimignano while also visiting a small cheese shop and getting even more gelato!
My absolute favorite, though, was the beach day. Andrea took us to a small rocky beach for an all time great day. He explained his history with the beach, then gave us time to sunbathe, have some drinks and a small lunch, and even dip in the water for a bit. In between glasses of wine and relaxation, we swam out to a small rock and climbed to the top, leaping out into the water, just to climb back up and do it over again. The water was crystal clear and the perfect temperature. It was a day I won’t ever forget.
Tuscany is beautiful and you’re obviously going to have a magical time there, but I cannot recommend enough taking a trip with La Luna Toscana so you won’t miss the smaller, beautiful parts of Tuscany that would normally just flash past in a tour bus window. It’s personal and magical, just how Italy should be.
